Derek is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt with nine years experience and 14 years of wrestling experience. Derek earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Montclair State University where he also wrestled for two years. He is still involved with wrestling as a volunteer coach and applies takedowns to his BJJ classes. Derek challenges himself by competing at the highest level at tournaments.
